New publication: learn more about the R2D2-MH Positive Psychology App
R2D2-MH researchers working on the Positive Psychology App have recently released a new publication explaining the methodology that will be used to test the effectiveness of the app.
The “Adappt” app was co-developed with parents of neurodivergent children and mental health professionals, and will soon be tested in real-life conditions in a trial across different countries.
The study participants, who will be recruited in France, Germany, Israel, Switzerland, and The Netherlands, will perform exercises that are based on positive psychology and mindfulness, and aimed at enhancing the parents’ ability to adapt and supporting their mental health.
The authors will use several outcomes to assess the effectiveness of the app:
- The improvement in generic sense of ability to adapt
- Mental well-being
- (parental) distress
- Overall satisfaction with Adappt
